Vinyl Tap has been in the business of selling music for over twenty years now and in that period have supplied many thousands of collectors around the globe. Originally started as a small one man business based in a small unit in Halifax and then to a small shop in Halifax piece hall. Through the years the business then steadily progressed to small local record fairs,international fairs and then to a large city centre shop in Leeds.

In 1990 Vinyl Tap 'got modern' and computerised it's stock which was a major landmark in the business - this is now linked up to this site so that anyone worldwide can search for the items they need.

In 2001 Vinyl Tap decided to concentrate on the future - the web - and moved to a very large warehouse on the outskirts of Huddersfield and now it's core business is mail order worldwide !
